KIS Weekly Safety Focus
This week, our teams are focusing on ways to protect themselves from caught in or between hazards on the jobsite. Common types of caught in or between hazards include:
1. Unguarded moving parts on machinery
2. Machinery not locked out during maintenance
3. Buried in or by, such as what might occur with cave-ins of unprotected excavations or trenches or the collapsing of walls during demolition
4. Pinned between, such as what might occur when heavy equipment tips over or working between moving materials and immovable structures, vehicles, or equipment.
We also reviewed how they can protect themselves from these potential hazards.
